JOIN THE 2025 CHRISTMAS CHOIR!

Participation Expectation: 

• Opt-in Period Ending July 1, 2025.
  • All interested in participating are encouraged to sign up using the URL provided. Through this sign-up we will share updates, files, and otherwise with the group as well as community-building access with our Performing Arts Circle.
  • Focus: music distribution, community-building, confirming our participant list, recruiting musicians and volunteer support.
  • Additionally: Various discussion forums, virtual meet-up events, and networking through the forum. A separate resource specifically for the choir will be used for music distribution which is not public to others in the online community.

• 1 Workshop in the summer to be scheduled
  • Attendance is optional.
  • Light touchpoints to introduce and keep music in minds/voices and community-building
• Fall Rehearsals
  • Attendance at least once each month.
  • Focus: vocal polish, memory, transitions, concert run-throughs

Final run-through to be scheduled with choir input. Tentative run-through date December 2, 2025 afternoon.

Two Rehearsal Options Each Day:

Tuesday Afternoon Rehearsals Option: ~1 hour 50 minutes

• 12:20–12:50 p.m.– Lunch & Fellowship Time in the Susie Gray Dining Hall (optional)
• 12:50–1:10 p.m.– Transition to rehearsal space, 3rd Floor Laskey Welcome Center building, Vocal Warm-ups
• 1:10–2:10 p.m.– Focused Rehearsal (Learning new sections, blend, diction, musicality)

Tuesday Evening Rehearsal Option: ~1 hour 50 minutes

• 6:00–6:20 p.m.– Arrival, Welcome, and Vocal Warm-ups, 3rd Floor Laskey Welcome Center building
• 6:20–7:20 p.m.– Focused Rehearsal (Learning new sections, blend, diction, musicality)
• 7:20–7:50 p.m.– Catered Refreshments & Fellowship Time (optional)
